North Forks would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy-Merry Holiday! This weekend marks the mid-point of Chanukah as well as being the last weekend before Christmas. If your world is anything like ours, it’s madness this time of year, but a thrilling, enjoyable craziness filled with friends and family, parties and luncheons. If you find yourself out on the fork this weekend, or if you escape to the Fork to get away from the last minute retail crush, there are certainly things to do, notably:

Greenport Harbor Brewing Company and Little Creek Oysters are teaming up with Backyard Brine Pickles for Picklepalooza: If you thought your holiday was crazy, take pity on the madness that drove these great folks to recognize pickles and beer go great together!

Sparkling Point is continuing with Eat, Drink, Be Sparkling, pairing their sparkling wine this week with sushi from Blue Canoe.

On Christmas Eve, Tom Schaudel of A Mano is hosting a Feast of the Seven Fishes from 5-9pm, Happy Hour from 4-7pm at the bar. Wine Down Wednesday is also in place with Half Priced Bottles of Wine with Dinner. Check out the menu.

While you’re out here, take a look at the gift items the local stores have. A bottle of Long Island wine, growler of Long Island beer, or restaurant gift certificate will be enjoyed by the recipient, even if that recipient is you!
