Roanoke Vineyards June 2017 Events – @RoanokeVineyard

June 3rd and 4th, all day: Pet Nat Madness at Roanoke Vineyards LOVE LANE!

Our special tasting this weekend consists of three Channing Daughters sensational Petillant Naturels. White, pink, and red fizzy

fun served in champagne flutes; a great way to move into the summer.

$14. for members and their guests

June 3rd, 6 PM: New Members Night

New members are invited to meet the Roanoke Vineyards staff and tour the vineyard (with a glass of wine in hand, of course!).

Find out where “Gabby’s rows” are, how to tell a Merlot vine from a Volkswagen, and taste a couple new wines.

Free for new 2017 members

August 19th, 5 PM: The Hill Climb

Roanoke wine club members will again scale the summit of  “The Hill,” the high peak (78 feet above sea level) in our Sound Avenue

vineyard. Before any attempt at this sort of altitude you’ll need to spend considerable time acclimatizing at Base Camp with rich food

and wine (god forbid you have a cerebral edema en route!). Come prepared to spend time at four stations along the route, each with a

special food and wine pairing. Upon summiting, our high altitude sommeliers will introduce you to the next vintage of “The Hill.”

Dinner and our fire pit will be waiting at Base Camp.

$100. for members and their guests

SOLD OUT

Our events sell out quickly, so if you see something you’re interested in, be sure to give us a call before it’s too late. The vineyard office is open 11 AM to 6 PM Monday through Friday. 631.727.4161

We strongly suggest that you forgo your complementary member’s tasting before a wine-focused event so you’ll arrive with a fresh palate. Thank you.
