Roanoke Vineyards April 2017 Events – @RoanokeVineyard

SPRING Events!!

Events at the main winery are for members and their guests only.

Reservations are required for all Roanoke events, and can be made by calling the vineyard at 631.727.4161

April 1st, 11 AM: SIGN MOVING!

No foolin’, we’re moving the sign! Bring your shovel and help us go underground. We’ll be digging up the (beautiful) Roanoke

Vineyards sign in front of the vineyard, and ceremonially carrying it to the backyard where we’ll re-install it. A recent Gallop

poll of our membership suggested that 99% of our members could find the vineyard without the sign, so in an effort to lower

our profile we’ll be moving it. The new location will be a great backdrop for selfies and facebook check-ins. Members in

attendance with shovels (and at this point possibly some mud on their feet) will enjoy a toast with a glass of our unreleased

red 3.6.0.! Free!

April 15th, 5:30 PM sharp: A Cabernet Sauvignon Blind Tasting

Those of you who had the pleasure of tasting the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon at our winter barrel tastings know we’re in striking

distance of a 100 point wine. How do we compare with other top Cab Sauvignons? You’ll find out when we go head-to-head

with Wine Spectator’s Wine of the Year producer Lewis Cellars, Chateau Duhart Milon Rothschild, Chateau Montelena,

and one of the hottest winemakers in the world, Dave Phinney. You’ll study six wines, poured all at once, unmarked, and

determine your favorite.

$65 for members and their guests

April 29th and 30th, all day: A Gabby’s Vertical Tasting

Your chance to taste three vintages of Gabby’s Cabernet Franc, served in three glasses. Use the moment to reserve your bottles

of the 2014 Gabby’s, to be released on September 25th.

$24.
